Dementholised Mentha Oil
Botanical Name:Mentha Arvensis
Dementholised Mentha Oil (DMO) is produced through the fractional distillation of Mentha arvensis oil, combined with the dementholised oil recovered after menthol crystallization. L-Menthol is the primary component of DMO, constituting 20% to 70% of its composition. This transparent liquid ranges from colorless to pale yellow in appearance.
DMO is referred to by various names globally, including peppermint oil and cornmint oil, and is available in multiple grades. It can be formulated with or without terpenes. The oil is characterized by its pleasant, minty aroma.
